The countdown is on!
QuickBooks Connect 2016 is less than one week away, and we can hardly contain our excitement! On Monday, October 24th, thousands of small business owners, accountants, and developers (just like you) will unite in sunny San Jose, California, to learn, connect, and (most importantly) grow.
It’s one of the most highly anticipated events of the year for entrepreneurs and accountants alike, and if you’re still wondering what all the fuss is about, tune in to our free webinar on October 20th to get an exclusive first look at this year’s top things to look forward to at QBC 16.
Hear from seasoned conference attendees and learn their strategies to make the most of your conference experience, and, of course, find out what they’re looking forward to most at this year’s event!
In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of the awesome things to come at QBC:
1. Prepare for some serious celebrity sightings.
Last year, we were lucky enough to rub shoulders will The Apprentice’s, Bill Rancic …
… but this year, the list of celebrity speakers is even MORE impressive.
We’re talking U.S. gold medalist Simone Biles, best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell, and pro skateboarder Tony Hawk. But that’s just the beginning. Actress Eva Longoria will be hitting the main stage (you might have heard of her), along with Shaq, Michael Phelps, and Jillian Michaels — to name just a few.
2. Get ready to paaaarrtyy!
There will be tons of after-hours networking sessions and happy hour events to choose from — but there are two HUGE parties you’re not going to want to miss. First and foremost, the TSheets “After Dark” party. You know what they say, ain’t no party like a TSheets party, and this year we’re excited to host alongside our amazing partners Avalara, Receipt Bank, and SalesPad. Don’t forget to bring your badge, it’s your ticket in the door!
But seriously, have you seen our parties? They look a little something like this. Trust us, you’re not going to want to miss it.
Secondly, there’s this little event called “Connectfest.” This year’s headliner? Third. Eye. Blind.
(No, Third Eye Blind, we’ll never let YOU go.)
So yeah. Get excited about that.
3. “Breakout” in song and dance over these breakout sessions!
Have you taken a gander at this year’s lineup of breakout speakers? (No? Find it here.) You gotta admit, it’s pretty impressive.
And if you’re ready to think outside the box (we might say “innovate and win”), grow your business, and do it all while learning from the very best in the industry, we recommend putting these names on your “can’t miss” list: Mike Michalowicz (as in, the author of “Profit First”), Rachel Fisch (better known as “Fischbooks”), Dawn Brolin (get ready to proclaim your love for “Team Brolin”), and Deborah Defer (the MD at BDO).
Of course, there are nearly 140 other amazing breakout speakers to choose from — it’s safe to say that no matter who’s on your list, you’re sure to walk away feeling inspired.
Having trouble choosing your sessions? We’ve got some tips.
There you have it!
Three awesome events you can look forward to at this year’s QBC. We can’t wait to snap some pics with Eva (fingers crossed), jam out to our favorite 90s alternative rock hits, and hang out with our amazing PROs at the After Dark party — but, more than anything, we’re looking forward to learning more about our new favorite apps and seeing how far our partners have come in the last 365 days!
After all, it’s been an entire year since QBC 2015, and there’s been some big changes.
In our case, we celebrated the launch of TSheets Scheduling, unveiled the long awaited Accountant View, and updated the PRO Portal. We added a few major integrations to our list of partners, including Intuit Online Payroll and Expensify, and we answered some big FLSA questions for small business owners everywhere.
Yep, it’s been an exciting year for TSheets, and we’re pretty sure it’s been an exciting year for you too.
Can’t wait to hear all about it at QBC 2016!
