After months of neglect, we’re pleased to announce that we’ve completely overhauled our iGoogle TGadget.  This was a much needed overhaul and affects not only our iGoogle TGadget but also our Mac Widget and pop-out time card.

Here are a few of the (major) changes:

  • Fresh new look
  • Tabbed interface
  • Dynamic width
  • Utilizes our new time card
  • Speedier and snappier thanks to AJAX calls

Here are a couple of screenshots to wet your palette…

Ready to give it a try? Add it to your iGoogle page, download the Mac Widget or try out the pop-out time card.

As always, comments and feedback are appreciated, so let us know what you think.

Here’s a cool tip for all our Mac users out there: Run TSheets as a desktop app.  This allows for easier and quicker time tracking access.

Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Download and install Fluid
  2. Launch Fluid and create a site specific browser with the settings pictured below (you’ll want to point this to your TSheets account URL, or you can use https://app.tsheets.com/ip/)
  3. If you’ve done everything right, you’ll get a success message.  Click ‘Launch Now’
  4. From here you have two options. 1) run as a desktop app from the dock or 2) run as an app from your toolbar.  If you choose option 1, you’re finished.  For option 2, keep reading…
  5. From the toolbar of the app you just launched, select the main app menu item and choose ‘Convert to MenuExtra SSB’
  6. Click ‘OK’ to continue
  7. You’ll now see the app shows up in your toolbar (along the top, close to your clock)

Hopefully you’ll find this as useful as I do (I use it more often than our main web application).

Let us know what you think.

We’re proud to announce our brand new, iPhone optimized web app,  TSheets Touch.

TSheets Touch presents a new, graphical way of looking at and interacting with traditional time tracking methods.

Starting, stopping and switching tasks is literally a touch (or click) away, saving time and making time tracking a little less arduous.

Read more about TSheets Touch at TechCrunch or at our TSheets Touch feature page.

Getting Started with TSheets Touch

Current TSheets users can visit their TSheets URL using their iPhone to use TSheets Touch.

New users can visit http://app.tsheets.com/ip, where they can create an account and start tracking their time in minutes.

For mobile users without an iPhone, we’ve got you covered too with our mobile web app and Jott integration.

I’m proud to introduce to all my fellow Apple users the TSheets Mac Dashboard widget!  This widget has all of the same functionality as our TGadget, but can live on your dashboard.

TSheets Dashboard Widget

Why is this cool?  For starters, it allows you to free up valuable real estate on your desktop.  And who doesn’t need more of this?  It also allows you to keep a time tracking tool right at your fingertips to ease your time tracking tasks.  This widget is free for use with all of our accounts (both personal and business).
