Business Wire: Eagle, ID – August 21, 2012 – TSheets, the time tracking technology company with over 1,000 users worldwide, recently released a new bilingual dial-in option to improve the flexibility and ease of time keeping for Spanish speaking employees. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, approximately 24 million Hispanics make up America’s workforce, and that number is projected to grow at a rate of 2.9% each year.
An enhancement of TSheets’ original dial-in feature, the Spanish dial-in option improves time tracking accuracy and accountability without requiring tech-savvy or tech-devices, especially for mobile employees who work outside of an office. By using a basic cell phone or landline, Spanish speaking workers can now clock in and out from any job location with a phone call.
“Simplicity and ease of use are a top priority for the developers at TSheets, so adding the Spanish dial-in feature just made sense,” Matt Rissell, the CEO of TSheets, noted. “The new feature improves the precision and experience of time keeping for both the project manager in the office and the employee on the move.”
After an employer activates the new feature, they will receive a pre-assigned phone number. When an employee calls in to that phone number, they will be immediately greeted in Spanish and offered four simple options: clock-in or clock-out, check on hours worked that day or week, switch job codes to a different project task, and/or add verbal notes that are then transcribed into text on the back end.
