Payroll Reports: Expand All (finally!)

Good news for all you Payroll Report users out there! We’ve added the ability to expand details for all employees with the simple click of a button. Along with this, we’ve also added a quick, easy way to access the ability to download the reports.

Both of these can be found below the summary area.

Again, we appreciate your feedback, so please don’t hesitate to let us know your thoughts.

  1. Something that would be awesome is a way to print the employee time cards…the ones that give all the details with the pie graph percentage. When I download some of the reports it is too jumbled and leaves out some details.

  2. Yes, we def need a way to print something that looks like a time card, WITH the breakdown by sub-job, not just the larger categories.

  3. Absolutely, it’s a feature that’s still being worked on at the moment, but trust me, we’re really excited for it as well! Keep checking in on the payroll report to see when the “Print” option is available.

  4. Every two weeks, I try and run a new and improved payroll report, and I am hopeful it will all work out in the end…But, I go back to the legacy report.

I need to see total hours worked each week, by employee. There are Overtime rules that need to be followed.

I personally don’t care about the pie chart. I prefer to have a report that shows all the weekly details w/totals, on a minimal number of pages (i.e. don’t need a page for each employee), but I can see that some might require this if they are using report as supplement to employee paycheck.

Thanks and I look forward to upgraded reports. Sue Kwapich

@Sue Kwapich, I do appreciate your patience Sue, and even more so I appreciate that you keep trying back to see the latest updates for the Payroll Report. I have a feeling that once the Print All Details feature is available this will fit your needs, so do keep checking back! In the meantime, if you have specific trouble that you’re worried about, like those overtime rules you mentioned, please send an email in to our help desk at help@tsheets.com so that we can address your account-specific concerns.

    Thanks again,

  5. I have been using the Legacy report, because like sue I do not need a pie chart. i just need a report with the total hours and also showing the ins and out times. The Legacy report is the way I need it to look. I have tried downloading the other report and it does not give me what i need.

@Carmen, have you been able to try expanding details for all employees and then printing those details? Now that the print feature is available, this should give you all the same detail that the legacy report did. If it doesn’t, and there is something specific that you need, please send a ticket in to our help desk at help@tsheets.com so that we can discuss this further.

    Thank you!

  6. This payroll feature seems interesting for time tracking software. These time tracker tools provides you perfect web based timesheets for calculating billable and non-billable hours of employees. You can generate the time sheets after the completion of each task.
