New feature! Users with internet enabled mobile devices can now clock in/out on-the-go! Account admins can use this now, employees must be authorized in the “Manage Employees” utility.

TSheets goes mobile! Employees who need to track their time on-the-go can now do it from any cell phone or PDA with internet access.  We are now perfect for construction workers, salesmen, the service industry, and anyone else who needs to track their time from the field.

Using TSheets mobile. Simply open your phone’s (or other mobile device) web browser, and enter your personalized login URL.  For example: company.tsheets.com.  The site will automatically direct your mobile device to the mobile version of TSheets timesheet software.

Making things easy. You don’t need to login every time you want to clock in or out!  We have created a special URL that you can bookmark that will allow you to bypass the login screen.  The “Auto Login” URL is built with this formula:  http://your-company.thseets.com/l/username/password Replace “your-company” with your company’s real login URL that you normally use.  Replace “username” and “password” with your username and password.  Now when you visit your TSheets bookmark it will automatically log you in and let you easily clock in or out.

Security. Obviously most companies don’t want their employees clocking in and out from their mobile phones.   For this reason employee accounts are not permitted to do time entry from their phone unless they have been specifically granted the “Mobile Time Entry” permission.  To grant this permission to an employee click on “Manage Employees”, then select an employee and click her username to bring up the employee editor.  Check the “Mobile Time Entry” permission, and then click “Save”.
